Also remember to clean your face at night, before retiring, with some good quality cleansing milk. Avoid oily food. If you have an excessively oily skin, take a diet rich in proteins but restricted in sugar, fluids and salt. Also take plenty of leafy green vegetables and fresh fruits.

Make sure that all of your makeup, especially your foundation, and sunscreen are water-based. There is no truer friend to oily skin than powder that is oil free and preferably free of fragrance.

  • Make a mixture of 1 spoon curd,1 spoon tomato juice, 1 spoon multani mitti, 1 spoon honey and little amount of kapur. Apply this mixture on your face.
  • Oily skin complexion often looks shiny and because excess sebum can mix with makeup an dirt to clog pores, oily skin is vunerable to spots.
  • Oily skin requires more cleansing than other skin types.

Oily skin is really very difficult to manage as it is sometime embarassing too to always wipeout your skin with the tissues. According to the science heredity is the main couse of having oily skin. I would like to suggest some of my personal home remedies to get rid of oily skin.
Aloe vera : Aloe vera gel works wondrously in reducing oily spots on the skin, it cleanses the skin from inside and controls the oil secreting glands. To use aloe very take a leaf and slice it to get the gel. Apply this aloe Vera gel 2-3 times daily. It will give you a smooth as well as rejuvenating effect.
Almonds and honey : Take about 2-3 almonds and grind them properly + ½ tablespoon honey to it. Mix them to make a fine paste. Apply it on your face and massage for 15-20 minutes. Wipe off your face with a hot water then wash with water, it will give your skin a deadly glow.
Honey : is also works amazingly for oily skin,it is an antioxidant agent. It also helps in flushing out all toxicity from the body as to have a flawless skin you have to be clean from inside. For that consume lime water add honey in it, every morning. You can also mix fresh lime juice with few drops of honey and apply on your skin with the help of cotton ball. It will remove the amount of oil on your face.
