Seared Ostrich Fillet - Recipe



Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, coat ostrich fillets in mixture and let stand 30 minutes.
Heat heavy skillet til smoking, place fillets in pan and sear each side for 2 minutes if fillets are 1 inch thick. You want medium rare here. Let rest 3 minutes and slice thin. Serve with roasted garlic and carrots.


2 Ostrich Fillets
1 tsp Corriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Coarse Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
