NBN Co, the company in charge of rolling out the government’s multi-billion dollar National Broadband Network has just published a new gallery of photos. The photos showcase what a typical fibre installation involves, including the external connection of the cable from the pit, to the house along with the internal installation.

In other NBN-related news today, Delimiter has a great run down on the newly announced Exetel plans for NBN. At just A$70 for 100Mbps and a 300GB data allowance, we’re starting to see the realisation of the initial vision. Not only a faster connection, but price competition that drives affordability down to and below ADSL2+ pricing.
