Claims To Be The World’s Smallest 64GB Flash Drive

|
Super Talent has launched what it claims to be the world’s smallest 64GB USB flash drive currently available. It’s called the Pico-C Special Edition and has dimensions of just 31.3 x 12.4 x 3.4mm, and a weight of 6 grams, making it an easy option for adding to a key ring. As the picture above shows, it’s certainly smaller than most keys.

The capless drive may be small, but it’s not USB 3.0 so data transfer is limited to a maximum of 30MB/s read and 15MB/s write speeds. The Special Edition in the name refers to the fact Super Talent decided to coat the tiny stick in 24k gold which is sure to impact the price.

Super Talent has made the drive available, but as of yet no retailers seem to be stocking it and no price has been announced. If you’re looking for a super small data storage solution you can’t get more storage in a smaller space than the Pico-C at the moment.[source]
