About a week ago, a sex-tape video of Daniela Cicarelli, a Brazilian supermodel started appearing on YouTube. Keeping in mind that YouTube is a highly popular website in Brazil, thousands of Brazilians began to boycot a TV program that features Daniella on MTV Brasil.
I don't have to say I'm sorry about anything because it's not my fault, I stated Cicarelli in an interview on Globo TV in Brazil on Tuesday. I don't have anything to do with that request, nor with the decision. Cicarelli mentioned that her boyfriend, Renato Malzoni was the one who filed the case.
Representatives from YouTube Inc. are stating that they are “working on resolving the current issue in Brazil and has been removing any clips containing the sex-tape footage.
For more information regarding the Brazilian model, refer to the Wikipedia page on her.
Some of the other recent YouTube controversy revolves around the Saddam Hussein execution video that started appearing on January 1st.
