Spice Launches 3 New Android Devices including a 7″ Tablet

Looks like India isn’t stopping with Tablet News! Spice has announced 3 new Android devices the ‘Mi-300′ a HTC Desire Look a like, ‘Mi-410’ a 4.1″ smartphone/MID and ‘Mi-700’ a 7″ tablet. The folks over at CellPassion have shot 3 hands on video of each of the products’ I’ve included them below along with specs and pricing. We are expecting these three devices to hit the streets of India late October/November.

Spice Mi-700 is a 7″ glossy tablet is compared to the OlivePad, actually the guy from CellPassions says they are the same product and from the press photo’s I’ve seen of the OlivePad I’d have to agree. The Mi-700 is showing Android 2.1 but the press release notes that it is launching with Ver. 2.2 on its 7” HVGA capacitive touch screen. Connectivity includes Wi-fi, Bluetooth and 2G/3G. Other specs include a hot swap memory card slot, USB data interfaces and Dual camera for video calling. The Mi-700 is based on Qualcomm’s MSM7227.

Hands on Mi-410 has a 4.1” HVGA capacitive display and is Wi-Fi enabled with 3G (HSDPA), Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR transferring data at 24Mbps, AGPS, GMS & MS office. In the video the demo version is running Android 2.1 but there is a side note claiming that it will launch with Android 2.2, this would be perfect. This brushed metal device is powered by the Snapdragon MSM8255.

Spice Mi-300 Will launch with Android 2.1 and looks alot like the HTC desire and it looks like it comes loaded with a lot of crapware. 3.5G Android smartphone which features a 3.2” HVGA Capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. If also includes GMS & MS Office, GPS & A-GPS for location tracking or turn-by-turn directions, WI-FI, Push E-mail, G-sensor, E-compass and a Proximity Sensor. It comes with a 5MP Camera and is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7227. The ‘Mi-300′ model has been priced at Rs.9,990.
